1. download from this link: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/
2. download both version for 32-bit and 64-bit if you’re using windows7 64-bit
3. install both version
4. click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)
5. click Add button and select MySQL connector
6. key-in all the information and click Ok button to save
7. select System DSN (repeat step 5 and 6)
8. Finish
