    • Hi,

      You are able to check whether MySQL is started or not. Double click on terminal and type:

      $ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql status

      it will display current status of your MySQL server and type the below command to restart;

      $ sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart

      $ mysql -u root -p

      The below command is for login to MySQL as root.

      Thank you.
